A comic on the history of Finnish mental healtchcare policies. The comics is produced as part of the MadEnCounters project. The project focuses on the current landcsape of Mental health services in Finland from Mad studies and Critical disability studies perspective and uses comics and zines as a way to communicate this research.

Below are some excerpts from the first comic in the project that outlines how the finnish mental healthcare system has evolved within the context of history of madness in the European context. The comic is developed using archival research, developing a narrative from secondary data on mental healthcare policies.
